Looks like it is just barely going to stay south of us. Not sure though, was getting a little rain when I was feeding tonight and the wind is out of the northeast. We normally get hit when the wind comes from that direction.

Stay safe and be careful if the roads get icy. it's the other nut you have to watch out for.

Hanto did you get anything?
Nothing but a little "spit and miss" rain. Pretty darn cool up here right now.
Who left the freezer open?

Wellll, we had 5" on the ground but very wet snow (with about 1/2" rain on the bottom) this morning. It has snowed all day, but the temp has been slightly above freezing so water is running and the snow isn't getting any deeper - thankfully - deep snow is hard on equipment. It's also hard on me  I spent all morning beating snow off bushes and trees in both yards so they wouldn't make a worse mess from breaking....lordy I love bushes and trees but when it comes to wet, heavy snow - NOT. We're still expecting 3" tonight, 3" tomorrow and again Sunday. Took pics this AM, will see what things look like tomorrow AM. Had 1 new baby today, thankfully born in the trees where the snow is thin. Thankfully we are almost done calving :D
Will post pics as the storm progresses (or maybe regresses).

Very good moisture, just a little bit of a pain in the neck...and I'm not complaining

It seems wayyyy to early in the season for all that snow! Hard to believe you're freezing while we're still in shorts.
We were opening windows yesterday for cooler air,
and hope you'll be sharing some of that cold wind eastward soon. We're ready for the mosquitos to die, die, die.
