That Jersey cow of mine is putting out 3-3 1/2+ gallons a day.
Put her out on green grass and the milk production took off. She went from 2 1/2 gallons.

Got 3 3/4 gallons from her today. Even crazier she is still nursing both calves.

Jersey = cream!!! The thick kind you have to scrape off the first spoon - over hot oatmeal. Dang now I have a craving :wink:

Even though I really like fresh cream, I don't think I'll ever have a craving to own another milk cow.
