Former Black Panther Rep. Bobby Rush (D-IL) made quite a fuss when he donned a "hoodie" during a speech in the U.S. House of Representatives until he was escorted out. At the time, former Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) "applauded his courage" for doing so.
Meanwhile, back home in Rush's district, two men wearing hooded sweatshirts, or "hoodies," were the shooters in an incident that left one dead and five injured.

In fact, during a span of six-hours Thursday night, 13 people were shot, leaving two dead in Chicago. It would seem it takes more courage to simply walk down the street in Rush's district than it does to wear a hooded sweatshirt in the House of Representatives by way of a stunt in a bizarre tribute to a young man shot and killed in Florida during a shooting incident still under investigation.

13 shot, 2 dead in Chicago in six hours Thursday night

The worst shooting occurred around 6 p.m. Thursday when two men in hooded sweatshirts opened fire inside a convenience store in the 1400 block of West 79th Street in the Gresham neighborhood, police said.

One man was killed and five others were wounded. The victims ranged in age from 16 to 24. The gunmen fled in an SUV and police continued searching for them this morning.

While the media shouts from the airwaves of racism..

is it racism, or fear of the gang culture violence?

if so I ask two questions...

Why did Trayvon's parents choose a few younger well dressed photos to give to the media?.. instead of the ones that surfaced later?

and Why is it when you see a picture of a gang member going to court they often have either a suit on or at least a button up shirt and pressed pants?

if clothes doesn't matter then why not show those photos and wear those clothes to court?

what the liberals and the black and Hispanic communities ignore is that most are not afraid of a nicely dressed youth of any color,.. but are terrified of a young gang-banger in saggys, a hoodie and covered in gang tattoos..

honestly, I am surprised given the gang culture violence we now are forced to live with that any person doesn't just shoot first... and ask which color they are later.. :?

NBC is going to "investigate"the tape with the 911 operator that "may"have been altered and CBS is going to interview the funeral director??
Between the two of them, wonder if the two of them are interested in anything except pouring a little more gas on the fire????
Only thing that could be more unbiased is if AL Sharpton is bro in law with the undertaker.

MSNBC is now conceding that there were some contusions on the back of Zimmerman's head in the police footage exiting the car....

They have now raised the bar to wonder how much force is OK to retaliate with after a simple assault............
