Hope for Obama

I been thinking of one hopeful thought about Obama. Maybe, just Maybe he will hold his Historical appointment in high regards and will not want to be remembered as the Black man that was given a chance and failed. History will put a spot light on him greater than most.

If he takes this seriously then maybe he will be a little more centrist like Clinton was and not try to push all the radical social ideas he has spoken of. Maybe common sense will come into play and he will be a little more conservative in his moves.

The problem is he will have people like Pelosi and Reed pushing him and I doubt they care about the legacy of a Black man. They care about their Liberal agenda!

If he fights them and stays moderate, he may be remembered as a good President! I hope this is proven true!

I've been thinking much the same thing. The far left worked long and hard to get him elected, and they will expect payback. Hopefully Obama can resist that type of mentality.

With the way things were going for the Republicans, all Obama had to do was convince people that he wasn't the radical his past record would indicate. He was able to do this, with the help of the media, of course. Heck, he's even said some things the past couple of months that I agree with 100%. Hopefully, he meant them.

If he governs more from the center, keeping in mind that he represents ALL Americans, not just the far left, things won't be so bad. If his past record, not to mention the way he ran in the primary, are any indication of how he governs, I'm afraid there will be trouble ahead, both for him and the country.

Two things to watch out for are Card Check and the Fairness Doctrine. Pelosi, Reid, Schumer and their ilk have promised to push these monstrosities right away. If Obama goes along, then the next four years could see an assault on the Constitution that'll make Bush look like one of the Founding Fathers. If Obama resists, he should gain a lot of respect from reasonable people, even those that didn't vote for him, which will make his job easier.

Either way, I'm confident we'll be OK. No one person can ruin this country, just as no one person can save it. We're better than that.

I don't think one person can ruin a nation, but one President that caves to the likes of Pelosi and her agenda could really set it back decades if not for ever. It is easier for the crowds to go along than the few to stand up against it.

More than Obama scarying me, is the fact that American citizens voted him into office. I think it says more about the direction the population is going than it does about Obama himself.

So one man does scare me! Because History is full of One Men that did mounds of evil work when their citizens did not stand up to stop them!

I think Obama better have an active Veto stamp if he wants to leave a positive legacy.

Seems like Bush was doing a good enough job that America was able to Deliver a multiple birth babies that Canada was not equipped to handle

Maybe you should worry about the problems Canada has and less about America then you can handle something as simple as child birth in Country with out having to outsource it!

Ps. Even a ruined America as you call it has more and does more than most if not all Countries around the world! If you wonder if yours fits that equation please look above an inch or so!

Oh, Cripes on a crutch! Think! Or do you have a scintilla of gray matter?

If you are so (choose one or more) A. Ignorant b. Stupid C. Misinformed or D. All the above to think that Bush ruined this country...think again! If he did, he did it with the full backing of the Demoncrats in Washington. He cannot be blamed entirely for any one instance, cause he damn sure had help from the left side of the aisle! And if you think Chairman Maobama can "rebuild" the United States all by himself, you are sadly, sadly mistaken.
