Here's what happened with over 8000 head at El Reno yesterday:

Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers 4.00-7.00 lower,
with 800 lb steers selling 10.00 lower. Demand moderate for feeder
cattle. Cattle futures lower again today after a sharp decline on
Tuesday. Feeder futures and live cattle futures showing a 2 day
3.00-5.00 drop. To add fuel to the fire cash cattle sold 2.00-3.00
lower at 80.00-81.00 today. Boxed beef prices also sold on the
negative side. Stocker steers and steer calves 1.00-4.00 lower,
under 450 lbs lightly tested and up to 10.00 lower. Stocker heifers
and heifer calves steady to 2.00 lower.
