Actually, I disagree on the not seeing out and having to pay attention to you...My thought is that They have to learn i am the most interseting thing in the world. If they have no other choices, how much of their attention do I really have?

Just a difference of opinion. There are different ways to get the same results...A horse that is responsive and safe,

I can tell by my reads that PPRM can get the Job Done - There are different ways to get the same results...

Be smart learn ALL the ways, What works on todays Horse may not work on Tomorrows Horse

LOL, I know a lady who midlife took up cutting...I knew her when she had a hard time navigating a Rope horse to turn left. She kept at it and I tip my hat for that.....Well, she took a horse a top trainer wasn't having any luck with, it was flunking out of his program...Ok, I really feel the trainer and our system of tryong to make finished futurity horses flunked, but that is another thread, LOL...

Anyways, she takes the horse and I think won the Novice division nationally that year. She got along great with the horse as she was not trying to push it....

So you are definetly right ODNT.....The more methods you know, the more tools in your toolbaox, the more liable you are to build a good experience,
