We have been keeping our eyes open all spring for a horse for Mrs. H. She decided it was time and I am happy she is ready for another pony. While the next horse will never compare to the last one, and it shouldnt, life is a pretty glum trip without doing it a horseback.

This will simply be the next chapter in a wonderful book entitled "Horses are sent from God to make life worth it"! I was visiting with a guy at work about horses and he mentioned he had a couple he needed to sell as he'd bought a new head horse without telling his wife and she said sell a couple or NO GO! Trouble making females!

So since I got rained out from a fence fixing project today, we took a saddle and headed north to see what he had. He had a 3 year old filly and a 4 year old gelding. She liked the filly right off so we put on a saddle and took a test ride. Heading into the arena.
Checking the cinch. This little mare is plain broke. Dog gentle and quiet. Just a sweetheart.
She is a little slight but has a perfect temprament. The horse aint bad either!
She reins ok and travels fine. Can ya see where this is heading?
I stayed out of the trading as I told her what I thought but it was her decision. Littlest H took a lap and seemed to approve from the grin.
Two youngsters. That grin says it all eh?
Then she tried the gelding. He is gonna be a great event horse as he's athletic as heck. He carries more muscle too.
And while he is a pretty horse too, the filly was THE HORSE!!!!!

I should buy the gelding as he only wants $1500 for him. But I gotta write a $1000 check tomorrow for the sorrel filly who will be coming home in our trailer. Mrs. H will have to give ya her story later cause right now she is walking on air!!! More pictures and pedigree to follow tomorrow!
