House work

One evening, Jenny arrived home from work to find the children bathed,
one load of clothes in the washer and another in the dryer, dinner on
the stove, and the table set.

She was astonished -- something's up.

It turned out that Ralph had read an article that said wives who worked
full-time and had to do their own housework were too tired to have
sex...

The night went well and the next day, she told her office friends all
about it.

"We had a great dinner. Ralph even cleaned up. He helped the kids do
their homework, folded all the laundry and put everything away. I really
enjoyed the evening."

"But what about afterward?" asked her friends.

"Oh, that was perfect too. Ralph was too tired..."

You should try it sometime, OT...

You know how many men it takes to change a roll of toilet paper?

No one knows. It's never been done before.

Yep -- Several of the old fogies from the retirement home catch the bus down to the "water hole" every day to have a couple heart stimulants and play cards...Some of the young bucks were giving one older fella (well in his 80's) a bad time for looking at the young gals with the pants that don't fit -- they asked him how old he was when he lost "the urge"...He said you'd have to ask someone older than him but he figured it was probably long after he's been buried....

I steam cleaned carpet most of the day today. While it was the hottest part of the day anyway. We bought a new machine last week. What got it all geared up today, was Mr Lilly's dad came down here this mornin and asked if we had one...they'd loaned theirs out and hadn't got it back yet, and their hot water heater had busted a line at the top. He took my new steam cleaner, and the shop vac to their house, along with our son (for help) and sucked about 55 gallons of water outta the utility room, kitchen, and livin room. So when it came back wet, I decided there weren't no better time than now to do our carpet. Not finished with every room, but got 3 big rooms and the hall done.

And yes.....I"m tired :p

It doesn't work to do housework around here. If I do the wife thinks something is up and keeps tryin to figure out what I did wrong.

as would most of us wives!!! Heck, I get "suspicious" if the hubby picks up his own socks or rinses off his own plate AND puts it in the dishwasher!!!
