When you are making a new thread, go to the main header and choose a forum to post into. Once there click on the title and it will open to show you the index of threads.
At the top of that index of threads there is a blank Title box you can start filling that out, or click on it to get that and the message box to show so you can fill them in.
Once you have done that you can use the Post thread button to make it become an original post to a thread.
OR
You can do to the forum and then look to the upper right for the POST THREAD button on the far right
That will also open a title and message box and you can fill in and then use the Post Thread button same as above.
