Guess we'll find out later this year or early next year. Link below; my emphasis.
"The deadly recent attacks on American troops in Iraq are increasing the pressure on President Bush to develop an exit strategy. The U.S. death toll from the war is now over 1,800, and a new AP-Ipsos poll shows the lowest approval yet for Bush's handling of Iraq, just 38 percent.
Of course we know that Bush couldn't develop a wart by himself. But Karl Rove has his own problems right now.
"The president's fellow Republicans are growing nervous as they head into an election year."
This war is going to show up in Republican primary races, too. So those setting Republicans better start pulling away from Bush's policies pretty quick. Frisk has already done so regarding stem cell research. It's going to be interesting to watch how the others handle it. I'll try to keep you informed.
