Have A Good Day

Those are some very good pictures! I think hummingbirds are one of the more intriguing birds--they say their nests are the size of a quarter. Thank you--I did enjoy!

Mighty fine hummin' bird pics. Last year after Hurricane "Ike" we had 'em swarming all over us so we put out some long unused feeders and they sure put them to use.

Wow. Excellent pictures!!

Mr. FH has proved to be somewhat of a 'bird man.'
He had a hummingbird in the shop and managed to get it on
his hand. Not only that, he let it go, came to the house and
got the camera. Went back to the shop, got the bird on his
hand AGAIN and took a picture of it. That was before digital
cameras, or I would post it here.

What was really odd is he had a wild
Blue Grouse in W. Montana that would fly right along with him
when he rode his motorcyle on the bench to irrigate. That bird
was really goofy. I have a 45 minute video of the grouse getting on his shoulder,
running around him in circles, biting the dog on
the butt when the dog got between Mr. FH and the bird. I thought he was going to get in the Scout with me, but the dog was there too, and
that stopped him! Mr. FH called the bird "Rojo,
the fighting chicken." The video is hilarous.
