huskers vs Georgia

Mike you need to just concentrate on the big game and quit trying to make intelligent posts because it ain't working. You even got the Wildcats agreeing with the Huskers.

I am not agreeing with the husker, I am agreeing with the manager of the Willa Cather Museum. the man who is thought to be the genetic decendant of Willa herself.....

Sorry Hayes, I just had to......

Yea, I don't think the game would have turned out like that with Murray playing QB & Gurley healthy. In fact I know it wouldn't have.

But I will congratulate the Huskers. They are a fine mediocre team and I commend them...............................

Nor would it of been with Martinez playing QB behind a healthy O line.
We probably would of hung 30 more on them.

I think that makes us something like 17-9 against the SEC.
From the Oddsshark.com breakdown of Wednesday's Gator Bowl:

Nebraska
G Spencer Long: Out for season (knee)
QB Taylor Martinez: Out indefinitely (foot)
DE Avery Moss: Out for bowl game (personal)
DL Kevin Williams: Out for season (knee)

Georgia
CB Sheldon Dawson: Out for bowl game (disciplinary)
S Josh Harvey-Clemons: Out for bowl game (disciplinary)
OL Austin Long: Out for season (academics)
RB Keith Marshall: Out for season (knee)
WR Malcolm Mitchell: Out for season (knee)
QB Aaron Murray: Out for season (knee)
TE Jay Rome: Out for season (foot)
WR Justin Scott-Wesley: Out for season (knee)

Among others, this list doesn't include Georgia receiver Chris Conley, who aggravated an ankle injury and is questionable.

This doesn't count the fact that our entire offensive line, counting TE, have been living in the training room the past month and every one was limping. Give us a HEALTHY O line, our QB, and let Georgia have all of their guys and we win by 45.

I notice that we beat GA by the same spread as Auburn did - and didn't need a freak play to do it......

But win or lose, AU is playing in the big game. And........Murray was the Q'back against them.

What are the Georgia fans saying now that they just got beat by a "low quality" team with a Freshman QB and banged up O line?

They're probably wishing they could have had their starting QB in the game as well as Gurley being healthy.

Yeah, we would like to have our starting QB, too. Ours was the conf. player of the year. We started a Freshman - I see Georgia started a Junior.
We would also like to of had a healthy O line and our best D end not dragging a leg.

Conference player of the year? Hallucinating or just BS'ing?? What's wrong with starting a freshman?

I really think Murray is a good qb. And the difference from him to the next below him is much greater than the difference between nu starters and backups. I kind of hope his injury drops him down to the chiefs level in the draft, but I bet they wouldn't pick him anyway. Go for some punk from LSU like they usually do.
