I've been gone, just catching up here and I want to ask

Why thee heck does it matter if or why he left the US?
Does it change your life in any way????

Now as for Obama, he's changing everyone's life, or at least
he want to. Oh, Ya, he told us that, didn't he?

If it's that important to you, you will find the answer.

It's kind of like not needing to know the background/history/eligibility when it comes to Obama, it won't have any affect on your life, so why worry about it.

If I wrote a book full of fabrications and lies, would you trust me more?

why not take a look at the information I'm providing and analyze it? If you don't think it will affect your life, than discount it.

debate the message, not the messenger. PB is not for discussing my heritage or where I live, it's for political debate.

We do discount your information hypo. That's why we're laughing at how you portray yourself as an American patriot but are bad mouthing your country and chose to live in Canada.

Why don't you and the new wunderkind Nalen discuss how you fled the U.S. and take potshots at us from there? That would be amusing.

Why don't you explain to us all why you are still here. You obviously are envious of a country with a government that will take care of you. Be gone. Please. So I'm the wunderkind? Thanks. Maybe if you brought some facts instead of trying to ridicule people while you sit at home in your trailer smoking cigs and breast feeding your latest illegitimate child while the other seven of your adorable rugrats decide the best way to insert a firecracker into a bullfrog. Just making assumptions. I seen that you do it so I figured this is a pretty accurate description of you. Am I right? Bet I'm pretty close huh.

Don't choke on that cigarette.

I recently discovered what R2 does for a livin', so to speak. If ya'll really knew about R2, and her background, you'd swallow your smart ass tongues. Yes, she lives and works in D.C., and what she does and has accomplished and is continuing to accomplish is amazing and not for the faint of heart or those with lack of character. And, no, it's not a liberal leaning career...far from it.

So, go ahead...lob your insults...you are the ones that look like total fools...

Nalen, that was uncalled for.

You can ask why someone is still here, perhaps, although R2 has the
same right as anyone to be here, but to belittle her with your comments
when you know nothing about her, was WRONG.

I expect an apology.

It's comments like this that demean this forum. Your remark
had NOTHING to do with politics.

What I could not understand R-2 is why are you on a Ranchers board. Really we are glad to have you here, even if sometimes some give you a bad time. Why are you on a board with us Hicks from the sticks? Are you trying to teach us? Or is there something you hope to learn about those of us that believe we represent middle America.

Now here is my belief: For the most part, Farmers and ranchers are people who did not get where they are at, or get what they have the easy way. They got where they are by being able to think, and being able to mostly make good decesions. Mostly they have learned from experience, sometimes from failure. We are willing to learn, learning is not just what has been written in a book, or how many learned people we listen to, it is trying the things that are new, only after we have thought them through. Experience tells us to try what is new with caution.

I have gone to a number of field days and demonstrations where "they" were trying to show us how well some new ideas were working, and suggesting we should all change. Sorry to say it, but 3 times out of 5, we were there again about 24 months later, to their farm sale.

I see that too, backhoe. And I think I'm included as I used to not
pay that much attention to politics. Not til 9-11, anyway.

I've never been as afraid for my country as I am now, either.

Times are better here in a lot of ways. People are getting more active in politics and political views. This is a good thing.

As long as differing views are tolerated which we haven't managed to do.

When all liberals are called quitters or all conservatives are called rightwingnuts (yes we are all guilty of painting with too broad a brush), it descends to the level of kindergarten insult trading.

Sorry if you miss understood my intent Reader-- I don't consider conservatives or Republicans of the old mold rightwingernuts-- in fact I respect them a great deal...Like I said- I believe Teddy Roosevelt and Eisenhower were probably our two greatest Presidents of the last century...

But those that oppose anything and everything that government does, fear anything new, gather their info and live by the preachings of the Rush's, Anns, Liddy's, Becks etal that fearmonger and hatemonger with half truths and falsehoods to enhance their pocketbooks-- and then actively promote racism, homophobia, conspiracy, and anarchy are definitely in my book rightwingernuts and crazies...

And sadly- like I said in the other thread- thats about all I see left posting on this forum- except for Steve- and maybe one or two others...Even folks I used to think were rational like Sandhusker and Soap have delved into the depths of this level...

Why do you continue to stalk hypo?

This is getting kind of scary the obsession you have with him!

Hypo I would consider reporting R2 to authorities and maybe seeing about getting a restraining order, she is obviously stalking you and obsessed with you in a non healthy way!

Personally, it doesn't matter much if the people that come here have cattle or not.

But I think you should also ask hypo the same question. Somehow he doesn't strike me as someone who knows much about cattle.

Of the 4 you named, I have heard two broadcasts by one of them. I've never listened to the other three and I don't appreciate anyone making my decisions for me. I follow and keep up with what legislation affects my life on my own.

We didn't elect someone who goes to their church to hear racist preaching and condemnation of America :D

But the voters of America elected who they thought was best...

At least this President hasn't shown the tendency to be hearing voices from God telling him to go into "Holy Wars" and "missions from God"

Conservatives are realizing they can not stay out of the fight any longer! They are realizing if they do not stand up and start fighting to win then the liberals are going to have a different country real fast.

Obama may have been the best thing to ever happen to the Conservative party and possibly the worse to happen to the Democrats!

Yep.

Just like they did when we tried to desegregate, enfranchise women, and set aside public lands to keep them from being destroyed.

I am glad someone is around to put the brakes on progress, I mean, just think where this country would be without reactionaries!
