I heard a rumor

I was just curious to know the latest on R-Calf. Someone just told me that R-Calf got a new Pres.; R-Calf never had over 3000 members; Leo quit; and there is $300,000 in missing funds.

Does anyone know about this? Is it just rumor or maybe old news.

It looks like some people are finally seeing R-Calf for what they really are, a propoganda machine that takes money from hard working producers to pay off a select few.

Here is an interesting question. If Bullard is pulling in 160K a year what do you think the "legal team" is paid and what kind of kickbacks are the topdogs at LMA getting?
Yeah sure the LMA is only working in the interest of producers.

There is a whole greasy team of snakeoil salesmen involved here so hang up the posters and strike up the band another calf auction is coming to a town near you! No donations will be turned away by Bullard and his new team of Bulleeeeevers.

you got the report a little mixed up. rcalf did lose nearly 300 large last year, but they say it's because they cut their dues to attract membership. and the story said they lost 3,000 members who declined to renew, but still have 15,000. as to a new president, yup, and mcdonnell quit, too.

Let's hope more producers wake up to the fact that the LMA led R-CULT has lied and deceived producers to the point where they need to distance themselves from those lies and deception.

Most producers are not brainwashed to the point that the truth doesn't matter to them anymore.

There is a reason R-CALF can't win a court decision. You can't win court cases armed with lies and baseless conspiracy theories.

With guys like Mike Callicrate leading R-CULT's charge, who wouldn't want to distance themselves from this organization?

Give me one example where R-CALF has lied to producers. Make it a fact and not your hyper-biased opinion.

Although their whole anti-Canadian campaign has been based around half-truths and lies, from statements by Kathleen Kelly in 2003-04 (they are in the archives so have at 'er) to last weeks release that they in fact don't have 18,000 members but at least 3000 less. I am sure someone will list more lies that I expect you will once again spin, divert and argue about.

I do have one bit of advice though Sadhusker. The good ship R-Klan seems to be going down. If Bullard or anyone else gives you some lemonade at the next R-Cult/LMA "Saturday Night Fund Raising Revival" it might be best to not to take any.

They say they have 15000 members today. Several months ago they said they had 18000 members. Therefore they lied? Have you been going to the ~SH~ school of logic?

You honestly believe they had 3000 members who simply didn't renew?

Bullard and Co. were fudging the membership numbers for some time!

In his report to the membership, CEO Bill Bullard said R-CALF USA's membership rolls had shrunk from 18,000 to 15,000 and suffered a $276,000 budget shortfall in 2006. A change in the way memberships among family members were counted and market conditions were accounted for the membership decline.

A change in the way memberships among family members were counted?

They are either a member or they aren't. What a joke.

How many ballots went out to some households with only one membership ocm? If they can't count something as simple memberships and mail out the proper amount of ballots to each household you can bet they can't count those same ballots either.

You bet they lied and someone caught them and forced the issue!

Okay,

Do you think Sandhusker should have it more than SH or the other way around? Why?

If it is just about bse issues put that aside as I am well aware of that one.

BMR, 99% of your grade relies on your ability to answer the "Why" part with real reasons, not opinions.

Sandcheska: "Give me one example where R-CALF has lied to producers. Make it a fact and not your hyper-biased opinion."'

R-CULT said Canadian beef is "high risk" and "contaminated". That was a lie.

R-CULT said USDA didn't care about food safety. That was a lie.

R-CULT said enforcing "M"COOL is as easy as the school lunch program. That is a lie because R-CULT's leaders know the qualifications for the school lunch program are not the same as the qualifications for "M"COOL.

R-CULT took credit for the 2004 cattle market and that was a lie.

Bullard lied to me about the affect of captive supplies on the cattle market.

You asked for one example of where R-CULT has lied to producers. I provided 5. You duck and run AS ALWAYS!

Great job defending R-CULT's lies there Lil' Sandcheska!
