All the liberals are supposed to be for "change", but after having their arses handed to themselves time and time again on the issues, why don't they change their mind?

I'm starting to believe it is because those not drinking the current Repub Koolaid actually can see what is happening in the world, and don't suffer from the hallucinations, delusions and illusions of Grandeur that Bush infected the Party cultists with...
In their mind, they don't have to...they simply elect to believe "Farrakhan's messiah" and his propaganda machine (the mainstream media). The drive-bys have been brainwashing the public with their "Hate Bush" propaganda for 8 years(except immediately after 9/11...even they knew better than that)...that's why Obama is running against Bush, not McCain!Sandhusker said:But none of you can refute the "koolaid"....

I don't know if we as a country can stand another four years without some kind of change. Look at our current economic situation and truely ask yourself if the United States as a Country is in a good state right now under the current government. I know when I read the investments and see the amount of money being lost and the banks foreclosing no matter if liberal or conservative it's time to take heads out of the sand and see that the current administration did not do the American people justice. McCain in my opinion to try and win needs to further himself from Bush and show the American people that he plans to change also. How he plans to do it. I think the average American is looking to Obama to fix the broken situation that this country is in. Can he do it? I am not sure. What Obama offers up that McCain doesn't for so many people is change from the way Bush currently is doing business.

Sandhusker, how many loans did you make for houses and/or land to people whose only qualification to get the loan was a paid utility bill?Sandhusker said:CattleArmy said:When our economy is in the state it is it's not just change for the hell of it.
There's good change and there's bad change. Look before you leap.

Luckily GW will only get to think he is the "Chosen One" for a couple more months- and then we can get someone back in there that believes in the people, and America, and puts America first....
So your banks IS NOT AT RISK OF FORECLOSURE!!!! Quite the opposite of the bankers some try to portray you as!!!Sandhusker said:None. I won't do it, nor would my committee allow me to do it. Guess what, we've got a clean loan portfolio and no evictions.

Man that's the overstatement of the year.
Obama Explains National Anthem Stance
Sun, 07 Sept. 2008 11:48:04 EST, General Bill Ginn' USAF (ret.) asked Obama to explain why he doesn't follow protocol when the National Anthem is played.
The General also stated to the Senator that according to the United States Code, Title 36, Chapter 10, Sec. 171...
During rendition of the national anthem when the flag is displayed, all present except those in uniform are expected to stand at attention facing the flag with the right hand over the heart.
At the very least, "Stand and Face It"
Senator Obama Live on Sunday states, "As I've said about the flag pin, I don't want to be perceived as taking sides, Obama said. 'There are a lot of people in the world to whom the American flag is a symbol of oppression. And the anthem itself conveys a war-like message. You know, the bombs bursting in air and all.
It should be swapped for something less parochial and less bellicose. I like the song 'I'd Like To Teach the World To Sing.' If that were our anthem, then I might salute it."We should consider to reinvent our National Anthem as well as to redesign our Flag to better offer our enemies hope and love. My wife disrespects the Flag for many personal reasons. Together she and I have attended several flag burning ceremonies in t he past, many years ago. She has her views and I have mine".
WHAAAAAAAT !!!
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, you heard it right.
This could possibly be our next President

Did I mention that Janet Reno and attorneys from ACRON(I wonder who that would be) used legal actions to force banks to make these bad loans that now have our credit system in shambles!
If McCain keeps his focus on this and the "tax and spend" qualities of Obama, he will win going away.Sandhusker said:RobertMac said:So your banks IS NOT AT RISK OF FORECLOSURE!!!! We didn't reset our underwriting to Barney Frank and Barak Obama's standards. As a result, our bank is probably among the top 5% in the nation as far as strength today. Our CEO is looking at others falling and he's licking his chops because we can step in and take over some strong credits from others who got themselves in trouble.

What gets me, TXBred, is that you actually believed this something this inane. Or, did you just throw it out there and hope it stuck!
