was thinking of you folks as i was planting oats for the hunters, was nice to be outside again with some green around and in a tractor.
You have alday to think and look at the country, seen several flocks of geese winging their way south and I thought well I guess those ole canuckleheads are having bad weather.
I sure like to see them flying high in that V formation honking to each other, they say an old mama goose is always the point bird never could figger that out most females aint good at directions :D

Yes, it must be fall, I've trapped a few pack rats in the barn already.

I always thought that honking noise those geese made was because they wanted to pass. I can relate to you liking to be in the quiet of farming. In town the noise never stops and your always looking over your shoulder. Maybe that's my guilty conscience.

Well its past my bedtime, be headed upstairs soon but its Friday nite so one more whiskey and a few more lines of text.
I must be gettin old, most Friday nites would find me waltzing some Fraulein across a dance floor, guess we all get old anyway I am headed to the big town of Harwood tomorrow, pop. at least 30 gotta nice bluegrass jam going on there tomorrow and me and some more old geezers are gonna go pick.
Chores are caught up around here except cuttin some firewood and that filly, I reckon they can both wait till I get some picking drinking done.
