hello all
i may have a new job and the ranch i may be going to has a good horse program and i will have to ride their horses
so if i get this job i will have to sell or trade some horses off
1 a black 2 year old foudation bred on top and little peppy on the bottom

2 a sorrel 2 year old with 4 white feet and a blaze face "looks just like the horse that john wayne rode" and i named him dollar after that horse
he out of a daughter of sonny dee bar
both of these colts are big and stout with great coformation and plenty of bone

3 two tone "the horse i posted pic's of last winter"
he is a 4 year old and is well broke and gentle
has had lots of cattle roped on him and is honest
very catty and can get around light on his feet and cut a cow nice
he can run plenty has lots of bone and good feet
i belive he could do just about anything in the arena
i think he would also make a nice pickup horse

4 a LARGE black percheron cross 7 yearold geld
he is started but not for the faint of heart
he will not buck as that's what he was raised for but he is just snorty and not broke very good he has been worked some but i don't know how much
and he won't cost much

we'll if any of these intrest any of ya'll let me know and we can visit about them

i will keep ya'll posted as to whether i get this new job or not
thanks in advance
jerry

hey now jerry dont be tradin off my black bronc yet i didnt get your leather yet it shoudl be comin in 1 to 2 weeks so i will get started on your leggins .

I'm sure they are all real nice horses, 4 year old if I remember looked real good but I think probably a bit too much horse for me.. Good luck with the new job, I am assuming the Kelpies are going with you, lol.

il yes the kelpies are going with us
but i will always have 5 or 10 for sale when you get ready for another one
two is a nice horse and gentle but he can get around so you would need to know how to sit a horse to ride him to his full potintial
but you keep working at it and you'll be cunntin cattle and draggin calves before you know it
when you get ready to drag your first bunch let me know and i'll deliver some good dogs to ya and help with the branding
until later
jerry

hey az
glad to see you made it over here this is a good site with some great folks
but be shure to have a sence of humor as it's like a big family here
i wouldn't worry about me selling "your black bronc" to soon
but it looks like i might be going to work down at the outfit i told you about at post texas
hope that leather gets there soon as it will be winter soon and that brush down there is thick and thorny

btw i took pic's of that horse and the other things we were talking about i'll get them sent soon
until later

Hey Jerry, I been to Post, Texas!! Tom Wagoner, the feller I put the
pictures on of working a young horse of ours, leased a place at Post
when he lived near Spur, Texas.

Good luck to you! I'm sure you will do any outfit proud.
Keep on doin' the horses the way we talk about on here.

And good luck sellin' them too. If the 4 year old wasn't so far
away...

well, he is, so I won't go there...

GOOD LUCK and keep us posted.

Woooooo Post, Texas......now that's some flat country!!!!! Spent alot of time there as a kid, best friend growin up, grandma lived there and we'd go spend a week here and there with her.

Home of Post Toasties :D

NO FARMERWHEELERS DONT DO WELL IN MESQUITE AND CATCLAW ........THANK GOD.

Good luck to you Jerry. Sounds like you might need some cur dogs again to go with your Kelpies. I got a guy in Texas holding me a black mouth cur pup from the "Big Thicket" lineage. Trying to line up a ride for her now to NC. Paul

well this might be a meant to be deal
a man called today out of the blue wanting to buy a horse and when i told him what i had for sale he said hed be here to pick up two tone tommorow
he had seen me sorting and doctoring on him before and he just jumped on him when i said he was for sale
guess i should have asked more money
oh well
the lord works in mysterious way i reckon

cow catcher
i don't think i'll be needing those dogs as the work will be limited on the ones i have thay have a big crew and i can only use them when i'm not working with a crew but they'll still see some work
until later
