Remember the public interrogation they gave the CEO of BP? How they accused him of not answering their questions about what went wrong because he told them the investigation was ongoing and he didn't have all the details yet? They pretty much accused him of lying.
Now comes Salazar defending the overreaching drilling moratorium on the grounds that they didn't know what was safe or not because they HAD NO WAY OF KNOWING what went wrong and IT WILL TAKE MONTHS TO FINISH INVESTIGATING.
