That doesn't sound like a blind follower to me. And this isn't the first time she's posted something like that, either. But I'm afraid that it often gets overlooked with some of the other 'issues.'
Alice is one of the few Obama supporters here who has expressed concern over the spending that's going on. If conservatives are ever going to stand a chance to stop the out-of-control wasteful spending, it's only going to come about with the help of fiscally conservative but socially liberal moderates. That description just might include a lot of people like Alice.
We need people like Alice to question that spending. We need some of the Obama supporters to side with conservatives to control that spending. We don't need to risk alienating them with arguments that are going nowhere.
I don't care what color Obama is, I don't care if he's got a funny name, I'm not really into the natural born citizen argument and I don't care if some people here think he's a Muslim. But I DO care that he is proposing spending huge amounts of money in a way that is unsustainable.
As conservatives, we need to get help in stopping that spending and we need to get it from any voter that will side with us. If that includes Alice, I'd be proud to have her on my side - even if it's just on that one issue.
