Ok......yeap...I took pictures. Whadja expect? LOL Alot of the time tho, durin all the clean up, it just wasn't a good idea to have my camera layin about. We spent alot of time outside this last week, cuz...it ain't much fun sittin in the house without power, and there's alot to clean up still.
Before the eye wall got here. We went to check on the horses.
After the north side of the eye wall had passed over us, we went out n about.
Here comes Mr Lilly's dad.
He's pushin trees with his truck to clear the road.
As the south side of the eye wall came over us, the horses showed up at the house. They all stood right at the yard fence between it and the new trailer. That's Bubba in the back peekin around.
Toilet Paper....helpin with clean-up. LOL
Toilet Paper.....PO'd (note the drip on his chin lol)
Cash......PO'd
Best daggum shade tree we had at the workin pens. And look at it now.
Before we could get out the gate...the bottom fell out again. (yeap I was gate opener that day)
Neighbor's barn don't look so good.
Saturday night's sunset.
A wee small dragon that was happy to see the storm pass. (as one of the women staying with my inlaws calls them. She's from Ireland)
Weiner dogs that were sure happy to see the wind and rain go away.
Mr Lilly sawin logs. LOL We have way plenty firewood. Just gotta cut it up and split it.
TP.....standin so perdy.
The inlaws house. Had a couple narrow misses.
The love bugs are awfulllllllllllllll......woulda thought they'da blowed away durin a hurricane, but they didnt. They swarmed the wood we were cuttin.
Georgia Power guys in the neighborin town yesterday. I'm sure they've been a huge help in this whole thang.
This is where our power lines were down. About 2 hours after I took this pic tonight.....WE HAVE POWERRRRRR!!!!!!!!!
I know we've had it relatively nice thru this whole ordeal. There's so many that have nothing to go home to. There's lives that have been lost, livestock that's been lost, homes, etc. And I thank God that we came out of this with as little damage as we did. Keep all those families in your prayers that have lost so much. And thanks for all your prayers for us thru this. Your a great bunch of folks!
