How do you 'write' an exam?

Here you 'take' an exam. The teachers give you a paper that has a list of questions and you answer them.

Well yeah, but you write the answers, so we call it writing an exam, like writing a test! lol We have very different speach patterns!

Writing an exam when I grew up was what the teacher did before the students took the exam.. Now, you wrote essays on exams from time to time or sort answers or whatever... Its been years since I took one and am more than happy with that

Taking an exam in canada would be snatching it out of the teachers hands and high tailing it across the room :) One would not "take" an exam in Canada for we are civilized LOL!

That would be called "borrowing the answer key" and it is a time honoured tradition..... NOt saying that I ever partook in such a deed and not saying I didn't know folks who did.. Funny how it always bit them in the arse in the end.. We always had 6 exams a semester to take.. 2 two hour sessions a day for a week or 3 days depending on how it fell for you that year.. I always found that they were nothing to get worked up over... Finished most in about 45 minutes and got to walk out and enjoy the spring sunshine.. Now, taking them in December I got to enjoy a nap.

Some folks down here "take and do this" or "take and do that". I assume these folks would thereby "take and take an exam" or if they were the teacher, they would "take and write an exam."

Since it is getting late, I had better take and write this post and then take and go to bed.

Im back... for about twenty minutes. lol.

I start exams on Wednesday and finish next tuesday. IA Wednesday morning, Health Wednesday afternoon. Phys Ed. Thursday morning, Guidance Thursday afternoon. Math friday morning. English monday morning. Science tuesday morning. A total of seven exams worth 40% of my mark.

I feel confident enough that I don't 'need' to study, but study a minimum of two hours for each test.

Thanks you guys,

Alex.

Good Luck, ACS, do well on your exams. It's hard to believe you are still in school...MCG's been out since the 25th of May.
