19-year-old Natasha Aeriel survived a wound to her head, The other three — Aeriel's brother, Terrance Aeriel, 18, Dashon Harvey, 20; and Iofemi Hightower, 20, — were forced to kneel against a wall and were shot fatally at close range

I have delayed posting this as it bothers me that the murderous thugs are believed to be illegal immigrants..such as this thug. while the facts are slow in surfacing,,,and rumors are that the others fled back to Mexico....The Questions need answered...

Why was he still in this country? and not in jail or deported...Is there so much wrong with our judicial system that an illegal (immigrant) can be out on bail committing additional crimes,... crimes that horrify a normal person,...Weapons charges,..Robberies,... Rape of a five year old,... and now execution murders..This guy is a thug...even if he was only guilty of one of the crimes he is accused of he should not have been free....

Jose Carranza, 28, also known as Jose Larchire, was named today as the "principal suspect" in the slaughter that has stirred outrage in the city and beyond its borders. Carranza -- who surrendered in person to Newark Mayor Cory Booker -- and a 15-year-old boy arrested Wednesday night are charged with murder, robbery and weapons offenses in the killings. Authorities are still hunting for other possible suspects.

Carranza, who was picked out of a photo lineup by the attack's lone survivor, is a Peruvian whose last known address was in Orange and was free on bail in two separate cases, according to court records.

He had been indicted by Essex County grand juries twice this year: once in April on aggravated assault and weapons charges; and once in July on 31 counts, including aggravated sexual assault of a child under 13 years old and endangering the welfare of a child he had a duty to supervise, court records show. ...Carranza was also charged under an alias with raping a girl over a four-year period that began when the child was almost 5 years old, the Star-Ledger reports....

An arrest warrant has been issued for a fourth suspect in last weekend's execution-style slayings of three college students,

Rodolfo Godinez, 24, is the fourth suspect wanted in connection with the schoolyard shootings. Newark police said Godinez, also known as Rodolfo Gomez, is a Nicaraguan national.

The investigation into the execution-style murder of three college students took a shocking turn Friday afternoon with a report that two of the victims may have been sexually assaulted before they were killed. FOX 5 New York reported that a sexual attack may have occurred before college students Terrance Aeriel, Iofemi Hightower and Dashon Harvey were shot to death, and 19-year old Natasha Aerial was critically wounded.

"There seems to be no motivation, no provocation," Booker said, calling the crime "evil."

"This was just a disgusting, vicious attack, and it's troubling," Booker said.

I think you poll is a little confusing to me. I think that an illegal that is accused of a crime should be held until justice is done with them and the victims get some closure and then either as part of their sentence or after they have been executed for a capital crime their body returned to the home government C.O.D.

I think we are one the same page....sorry for the confusion...

while I have always felt that many of the illegals are here to work and make a better life, there are far to many that are here to rape, steal, and kill....

with that in mind....when-ever a person is detained by the police for any reason..check their status..if they are here illegally...convict them....let them serve their time and then deport them....

deducting their incarceration cost from any aid we send to their country would be a good start...

Gingrich 'sickened' with Bush, Congress

By EUNICE MOSCOSO

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich said Tuesday he is "sickened" that President Bush and Congress went on vacation "while young Americans in our cities are massacred" by illegal immigrants.

Gingrich, who is considering a run for the White House, was referring to a recent crime in Newark, N.J., where three college students were murdered execution style in a school playground.

One of the suspects -- Jose Lachira Carranza -- is an illegal immigrant from Peru who was on bail on charges of raping a child when the murders occurred.

Gingrich said another suspect is an illegal immigrant from Nicaragua with a long record of arrests who was ordered deported in 1993 but never left.

However, The (Newark) Star Ledger reported Tuesday that the man -- Rodolfo Godinez -- obtained permanent legal residency in 2001.

The Newark Police Department did not return requests for comment.

Gingrich said that the "war here at home" against illegal immigrants is "even more deadly than the war in Iraq and Afghanistan."

"The federal government's incompetence, timidity and uncoordinated efforts to identify and deport criminal illegal aliens have had devastating consequences for innocent Americans," Gingrich said, in a newsletter.

"As an American, I am sickened that the political leadership of America could continue to go on vacation and do nothing," he said. "Why are the August vacations for the president and the Congress more precious than the lives of young Americans who are being killed because of government incompetence and inaction."

Gingrich said that President Bush should call Congress back into special session for three days to pass a bill in honor of the slain students.

The measure should order the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Department of Homeland Security to outsource the development of an identification system to check the legal status of felons and have it up and running by Jan. 1, 2008, he said.

In addition, it should withdraw federal aid from any city, county or state that refuses to participate in checking the legal status of arrested felons, Gingrich said.

Authorities say six people, including four juveniles, were involved in the Aug. 4 murders of Terrance Aeriel, 18; Dashon Harvey, 20; and Iofemi Hightower, 20, according to news reports. A fourth victim, 19-year-old Natasha Aeriel, survived after being shot in the head.

Three of the six suspects are in custody, including Carranza, who turned himself into authorities. Three are at large.

Police have said that robbery was the motive for the killings

serious crimes punishment then deportation.

On the small stuff, speeding tickets, parking tickets or Jay walking detain them and then deport them!

On the serious crimes I think we should start outsourcing our prisons. If you are an illegal immigrant or non U.S. citizen and you are convicted of a crime you would be sent to Siberia, Turkey, China or some country like this were we pay them to outsource our prisons.

So if you are illegal and busted for robbing a liquor store you serve your 5 years in a Turkish prison. If it cost say $40,000.00 a year to house a prisoner here, I am betting that we can get it done in Turkey for say $10,000.00

Outsourcing is not a bad thing we are just outsourcing the wrong things

Wasn't that many years that even if your were a Legal Immigrant-- if you screwed up before you got your citizenship, you were deported...Thats how they got rid of some of the old mob boys like Luciano.....

Now even if you're an illegal immigrant- have commited 3-4 crimes- belong to a gang- they don't deport you...Don't even put you in jail-- just let you have bond

Maybe thats part of the GW/Rove plan to create small business (bondsmen) and more service jobs ( detention and parole officers)...

An ATTA BOY to GW and the immigration boys--but why hasn't he and Clinton been doing this for the past 15-20 years :???: We wouldn't have the mess we have if they'd only enforced the law as they are sworn to do... :( :(
Deported twice, convicted of fraud-- if found in the country again we should lock her up for about 5 years-- or better yet GW should be spending his time at the posh Canadian hotel working out a deal where Mexico would lock them up for 5 years......

Immigration Activist Deported to Mexico
NewsMax.com Wires
Monday, Aug. 20, 2007

LOS ANGELES -- An immigration activist who took refuge in a Chicago church for a year to avoid being separated from her son has been deported to Mexico, the church's pastor said.

Elvira Arellano was arrested Sunday afternoon outside Our Lady Queen of Angels church in Los Angeles. She was deported several hours later, said the Rev. Walter Coleman, pastor of Adalberto United Methodist Church in Chicago, where Arellano had taken refuge.

"She has been deported. She is free and in Tijuana," said Coleman, who said he spoke to her on the phone. "She is in good spirits. She is ready to continue the struggle against the separation of families from the other side of the border."
-------------------------
Arellano came to Washington state illegally in 1997. She was deported to Mexico shortly after, but returned and moved to Illinois in 2000, taking a job cleaning planes at O'Hare International Airport.

She was arrested in 2002 at O'Hare and convicted of working under a false Social Security number. She was to surrender to authorities last August.

an update:

six suspects...
Jose Carranza, -- is an illegal immigrant from Peru
Rodolfo Godinez, -- is a Nicaraguan national.
melvin jovel, -- is an illegal immigrant from Honduras
alexander alfaro, -- 16 year old half brother of Godinez
un-named 15 year old...troublemaker, lived in an Ivy hill Apartment complex
un-named15 year old.., lived in an Ivy hill Apartment complex

According to an informant, the 16-year-old was spotted hanging out with members of MS-13 in the Washington, D.C. area, authorities said. The notoriously violent Central American street gang has a strong grip in neighborhoods outside of the nation's capital.

Two of the juvenile suspects praised the MS-13 gang on their MySpace pages, and residents living in the Ivy Hill area who knew the suspects said they were known in the neighborhood to be members of the gang.

Just by the facts presented to date...the three adults should have been deported...and more then likely the three others would not be here had the immigration policy of this state and the federal government not been so lax..

a sad case, but one the liberal government and media in this state, are trying their best to "cover-up"..

But the fact remains:
The fact that police departments in virtually every major city (and not so major ones) spend their time responding to crime by illegal aliens, looking for the illegal alien culprits, arresting illegal aliens (when their local laws allow them to), processing them through the system, means more officers, more departments, are stretched to the limit, by people who shouldn't be here in the first place.

Montana is not an "amnesty" state...Last week the local's got a report of suspected illegal Mexicans working for one of the many out of state roofing/construction crews that moved in after our hailstorm...So the Sheriff notified the Border Patrol and together they payed them a visit at work-- I think the only one that wasn't illegal was the foreman...So the hauled them to Scobey for processing (since their was so many the Sheriffs office assisted with transporting  )- and deported them all back to Meckico....

Be it drug dealers, illegals, ect... I often wonder why some police departments can't see the law breakers... when it seems every one knows who they are, and where they are...

I think the problem is more where to put them "all" if they arrest them... our jails are full, and have been..

I say if they are detained for any reason...deport them.

In my opinion all ILLEGALS (after all what does ILLEGAL mean?) should be detained and deported. It can be done regardless of what George W. wants us to believe.

This is still the case for LEGAL immigrants OT, not only do we have to have a squeaky clean record prior to being allowed to apply for a visa, but any reasonably serious crime while the residence application is being processed, will lead to deportation after duly serving the appropriate sentence, you have to be illegal from the ouset to continue to break the law with impunity.
