I'm totally amazed that this tree is still alive and doing well.
I found this tree in one of our pastures today (still exploring the new place). :D

Trees can be pretty amazing. This is a Limber Pine in the Porcupine Hills. You can see right through the middle.

Almost looks like 2 separate trees that grafted together. Kinda like those fruit bearing trees that yall see in those landscape places.

 MLA.

No I don't think so Mrs G, its just rotted out or maybe hit by lightning once upon a time ??
We have pine beetle here thats killing the pine, but thats a spruce in the picture.

I knew it was a spruce :) It just looks funny the way the inside is gone...we find trees like those on our pasture but they're full of ants

Both neat trees...Jigger is something eating at that tree?

No, I don't think so. That's just a passing horse and rider, Mrs. G!

No need to poke fun at Mrs. Greg, com'on MLA!!! But that was funny!!
Now your being mean to mrs. Greg. What did she ever do to you to make you be so mean to her?:(

Well after thinking about it long and hard, i decided she never really did anything to deserve me poking fun at her.

However, I really wasn't poking fun at her. I just thought it was kinda funny. Except for one thing, I got the pictures and her question mixed up. The picture that has the horse and rider on isn't even the one she was talking about, so, my bad!
