Looks like a great vacation, Jassy. We missed you and your pictures, but glad you are now making up for lost time. It appears you had an interestingly historic itinerary. Thanks for catching us up.

Quite a few years ago, I had the opportunity to ride "shotgun" on the high seat of a stagecoach, with a friend who was driving a pair of mules in the Cheyenne Frontier Days parade. That was a fun experience. There had been a lot of rain preceding the rodeos, and the arena was a quagmire. I still remember the rodeo judges (who wouldn't be caught dead wearing a pair of overshoes  ) standing outside the rough stock chutes. They had on high topped boots, and the water was right at the bottom of their boot top scallops. One bronc rider bucked off right outside of the chute, in that big deep puddle, and he was completely submerged. One of the judges grabbed him by the shirt collar and pulled him up so he wouldn't drown. This was on Thursday of Frontier Days week. One week later, on the following Thursday, the big flood occurred. Several people did drown because of that happening.

Nice pics, and a very cool church. The country looks much like the southern end of the Porcupine Hills, down south of us.
