I'm voting for John McCain because I don't think doubling the national debt in eight years is going far enough. If the nation is bankrupt, I can still use my dollars as wallpaper for the bathroom.

I'm voting for John McCain because I believe in the erosion of my civil liberties and the evisceration of our Constitution. You may see a national ID card the first step towards a police state; I see it as "orderly".

I'm voting for John McCain because I believe it's good foreign policy to use military might to keep order in the world, preserving my God-given right to unfettered access to natural resources from foreign lands, whether the locals agree or not.

I'm voting for John McCain because fabricating evidence and picking a fight with a country that neither attacked us, nor was an 'imminent' threat has increased terrorist attacks worldwide, while also allowing the safe havens and training facilities to flourish. This keeps Americans "focused" on the bad guys and justifies spending billions of dollars each year on "defense".

I'm voting for John McCain because the slaughter of hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians and the forced displacement of nearly four million more from their homes in Iraq means "freedom is on the march". We now have permanent U.S. military bases in the region and can stay there 'for a hundred years'
... Mission Accomplished!

I'm voting for John McCain because I admire the courage it takes to do an "about face" on every single principled stand he's taken over the years in order to get the crooks, lobbyists and polluters on board his "Straight Talk Express". Regular folks won't notice as long as the media calls him 'maverick' during the evening news.

I'm voting for John McCain because I think allowing lobbyists and industry lawyers to write our laws makes Congress more efficient. The massive tax giveaways to big oil, drug and insurance industries and defense contractors that move offshore to avoid payroll and other taxes is merely the price we pay for living in a 'free' society.

I'm voting for John McCain because I believe that regulating energy commodities might hurt our economy. Regulating orange juice and soybeans futures makes perfect sense; closing the Enron Loophole might upset our energy suppliers. I like having to choose between food for the kids, and driving to work!

I'm voting for John McCain because I believe in legislating morality. I want Uncle Sam in my bedroom! Besides, you have to admire a man that can leave his first wife for a blond cheerleader eighteen years his junior (an heiress who illegally helped finance his first political campaign) and still represent the 'family values' party.

I'm voting for John McCain because I'm amused by his lapses in judgment and memory. I like the way he masks his volatile temper with a pained, maniacal grin. I think it's cute the way he furrows his wrinkled brow and stares off into the distance as he forgets reporter's questions ...
