Immigration Protestors

Wonder why police officials did not use the Immigration Protest Monday as an opportunity to arrest some criminals?

If a bunch of bank robbers, murders, or tax evaders all got together and held an advertised Protest Rally in all the major cities. Would you not think that law enforcement would be out in full force arresting them?

But a bunch of illegal immigrants can organize any time they wish and march on our streets with no fear of arrest

Here is a quote from one of the Protesters

Nineth Castillo, a 26-year-old waitress from Guatemala who joined the Atlanta march, said she has lived in the United States for 11 years “without a scrap of paper.”

Asked whether she was afraid to parade her undocumented status in front of a massive police presence, she laughed and said: “Why? They kick us out, we’re coming back tomorrow.”

Nice to see Hillary is out speaking at rallies of Criminals, pledging here support of their criminal activity!

But on Monday, Sen. Hillary Clinton told a rally in New York she was "convinced that we will have immigration reform because it makes sense for America."

"But not the kind of legislation that was passed in the House, because that is not in keeping with either reality or American values," the New York Democrat said.

There will have to some type of reform regarding immigration like it or not.

You can not pack up and move over 12M people without our economy going in the crapper!

If you send back the illegal adults...what about their legal children born here in the US, US citizens? Who will take care of them? You willing to adopt a few needy citizens under the age of 18?

Start punishing the business that hire them and they will go back on their own!!

We will adapt to not having them! Or we will execute our right to invite some LEGAL immigrants to come work! Pretty simple huh? Just invite some legal people to come work! I am sure there is some immigrant wannabee's out there that just are not willing to break the law to get here. Seems I heard there is even a waiting list full of them?

As for babies born here, no baby born from an Illegal Immigrant should be allowed citizenship. If someone is here LEGALLY as a Legal resident then fine. But if their parents were not suppose to be here, then they were not suppose to be born here! Send them home with the family!

Is that simple enough to understand?

So when ever we are confronted with a difficult problem we should just give up?

Why not start by checking the status of every one that is arrested....and deporting them..

By "removing" the criminal element first through effective law enforcement, then a common sense approach can be made with the rest...

Novel approach..................do not let them send money back to Mexico and make it tough on employers. Guess what I'll bet an awful lot go home. Is that easy or what.

I agree that ck's and balances need to put in place. Don't let them get DL's, ck each and everytime someone goes to the hospital, opens a cking account, stopped for a traffic violations, there are endless ways.

All you guys scream is send'em back, send'em back. But even if you set the ck's and balances in place...you still have the question of the kids. It's like the call to war.....no one seems to be thinking of the " after" part .

Do we as the US want to start deporting innocent people who could not help who their parents were and those people were born US citizens?

If that be the case, then there are LOTS of poeple going back to England, Scotland, Norway, Europe in general. It's NOT just the Spanish speakers!

Aminus...not matter what you like, if you are born here you ARE a citizen...so get over it!

I don't understand, why can't you send them back along with their children. They are scattered all across America. It would take some time but with each local towns law enforcement working, it could be done. That it can't be done, is the basic premise of the corrupt politicians and corporations that want to keep them here for their benefit. I don't believe any illegal adult would want to leave behind their own kids, if they are that kind of illegal, we certainly don't need them here under any circumstances.

Because you would be deporting AMERICAN CITIZENS by sending back children born here in the United States.

You want to deport American citizens only on the factor of their birth parents?

I am not a big Michael Savage fan, but he had a good idea to deal with illegal immigrants. They go home or we outsource them to prisons abroad to countries like Russia and China. We could outsource them for pennies a day to prisons in Siberia. First time they are caught, home to Mexico, second time home to Siberia or Turkey.

Not many would break our laws by illegally crossing our borders if they knew what awaited them was a prison in Siberia, for a year or two.

I think outsourcing our prisons would hinder crime on many fronts. The thought of a Turkish or Siberian prison might hinder bunches of crime

That law needs changed! I can see an amnesty program for children that were born here and been here say all the way till their teens. But some new baby or 2 year old, would have no problem returning with their parents to the country they belong.

If their parents have a green card and are legal immigrants and they were born here then they deserve to be citizens. But when their parents broke the law and never should have been here in the first place then NO they do not get citizenship.

Kind of like if a thief breaks into your home or trespasses on your property and gets hurt, they should not be able to sue the land owner because they should have never been there in the first place should they?

If they were born here under illegal circumstances, give them the choice.
Either they can go back to Mexico with their illegal parents or they can stay here if their parents pay for their care or have a friend or relative to stay with....................their choice.

Everyone is so narrow minded here....it's not just the Mexicans that are illegal.....it's English, Irish, Canadian,German, etc...

Granted they are the largest part of the immigration but it's not all about them.

You are correct and I imagine all of us do not discriminate, we want the same policies for any ILLEGAL immigrant. Mexico does get mentioned many times primarily because it is were the real problem is coming from.

Fix the big problem (Mexico) and the small problems will take care of themselves.

Illegals are illegals no matter what country they are from. But the other country illegals have not refused to speak English, have not flooded the welfare office applying for food stamps.

Mexicans have refused to speak English (they don't want to lose their heritage). How can you lose your heritage?? Those mexican features last for generations (facial, hair, eyes, etc....)

The first thing they do when they get to California is apply for food stamps, cause "its their right". Why ANY state and I do mean ANY state would allow illegals to benefit from Welfare is beyond me.

Furthermore, congress can give themselves 8 raises in an 18 month period but they have to vote in an increase in minimum wage over a 2 YEAR period??? Congress is willing to allow illegals access to the Social Security system??? Why not put Congress under the Social Security System and do away with their lucrative retirement program???? They would fix its problems so quickly once it affected their own retirement.

Voters voted in that any politician criminated of criminal charges loses their retirement pension and now we have a politician in Illinois suing over losing his pension of $86,000.00 year............. I say too bad, you guilty, you lose. We need to do that to a lot more politicians. How many Americans under the Social Security System will get $86,000.00 a year???

Don't you just love it when you have to push "1" for English??? That really ticks me off. This is the USA, you want some other language than English then you press "1".

I think we should follow bush's plan for the illegals. First give them all green cards no questions asked and then make them all citizens. That was his first suggestion a year or two ago. Don't know what he is mumbling about now.

Yes sir, once that plan passes get ready for about 15 million more running over the top of each other coming across the border.

I also agree its a bad law that anyone born here automatically is a citizen. I can't help but believe the intent of that law was that anyone born here to a legal immigrant or to a family applying for citizenship or seeking political asylum. etc., receives citizenship. The way this law reads, if I understand it correctly, Osama Bin Laden could father a child here and the child would automatically be an American citizen.
