no, we call them north Jersey... :lol: for those who don't know the pinelands is a large natural pine forest that the government has successfully taken form the land owners by severely restricting and development, the result is home to New Jersey's native born hillbilly population.. called Pinies.. it has alot of sand, twisted pine trees and unmarked graves..

it is home to the New Jersey devil as well..


in the center is Fort Dix and McGuire Air Force base,



Wildwood is in the southern most part of the state.. and still conservative.. :D and just redneck enough to tolerate living here

You defined it perfectly! Except for the cranberries on the outskirts.
Is that where they filmed those Ocean Spray commercials? Those two look and act like Pinies. :)
I did a lot of storm drainage work down there for Trap Rock Industries., a few years back.
And teenage Memories!
I was 19 when this was a hit.
