Jury finds 5 New Orleans police guilty in Katrina shootings case

NEW ORLEANS (Reuters) - A federal jury found four New Orleans police officers guilty on Friday in connection to the shooting deaths of civilians in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and a subsequent cover-up.

The jury stopped short of calling the shootings murder, declining to convict on accusations that the killings were intentional.

a fifth officer was found guilty of a lesser charge.. but none were convicted of murder?

makes you wonder what crime it was they committed?

and why the fifth officer wasn't found guilty of that as well... ???
