Ranchy and ladies.....Sometimes when meds cause moods, the room gets quiet when you walk in because we are afraid to say anything....For instance, "My you look good" can bring back, "Oh, don't I usually" from an otherwise delightful wife when meds are in effect.....

The whip cream bikini, well, it goes back to the saying, the feedback you get is often a result of what you are putting out tere...

Glad things are better,

BTW,

One of the best marriage videos/books we have ever done is called Love And Respect by Emerson Egglebert? We went thru it this summer and it has been a great help. Little things for the ladies to understand why sometimes men go quiet, vs talking how they feel out....

It is different in that most marriage series focus mostly on understanding the Love needs of women and how men are failing.....This one explains the need a man has to be admired for the things he does....It is way more balanced is all I am saying,

We are actually leading the video series in a church Sunday School, that is how much we feel it has helped our 19 year marriage,

I only mention it in that it seems my comment on why your husband seemed quiet did reassure you that his intentions may be sincere, he just doesn't always know how to react in a way that uplifts and supports you....I would have never known a good way to explain it without this background,

And again, glad things are better,

Pat

BTW,

The Book is Love and Respect by Emmerson Eggerichs, I was wrong on the last name. It is very Biblically based. For me that is important, but if the Bible isn't your cup of tea, look past that to the messages of how men and women differ and ways to uplift each other instead of unintentionally hurting each other....

gonna have to see if I can find this one!!! At bible study on monday nights, we have been discussing the "differences" between men and women and it has been quite and eye-opener!! Made me come home and hug the hubby after hearing what some of the other women in the group had to say!!
