Obama campaigned in the New Jersey and Virginia Governors races and the Dem. Candidates lost. Obama campaigned for Coakley in Mass. and she lost. He is now campaigning for Reid in Nevada and this is what Nevadans think of him according to Rasmussen on Feb 5th

Barack Obama won 55% of the vote in Nevada in November 2008. Now 46% of voters in the state approve of how President Obama is performing, with 27% who strongly approve. Fifty-four percent (54%) disapprove of the president’s job performance, including 45% who strongly disapprove. This is a higher level of disapproval than is found nationally

He told people not to spend their money in Vegas not just once but twice. And the Mayor there won't even except his invitations.

So was it smart with his record on campaigning for others for him to be in Nevada campaigning for Reid when Reid is behind in the polls himself and he and Pelosi have a trick up their collective sleeves to pass their monster health care take over bill that 61% of Americans think should to trashed and started over?

WASHINGTON (AP) - President Barack Obama owes his Canadian counterpart a case of beer.

Obama made the friendly wager with Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper before Sunday's U.S.-Canada gold medal game. Canada beat the United States 3-2 on Sidney Crosby's overtime goal.

White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said President Barack Obama had a case of Yuengling, a Pennsylvania regional brew, riding on the game.

The latest poll by PPP shows there is almost no significant demographic group that would not be more put off than impressed by Obama's endorsement of a candidate. Specifically:

* 54 percent of those identifying themselves as "independent" or "other," rather than Republican or Democrat, now view an Obama endorsement as a factor swaying them against voting for a candidate for office.

* Only 23 percent of such independent voters said his endorsement would make them more likely to support someone; the remaining 23 percent of independents said it didn't matter or they didn't know.

* 44 percent of Hispanics said they would be less likely to vote for someone President Obama endorses, while only 33 percent were more likely.

PPP is a respected firm and is associated with the Democratic party.

If this keeps up, the democrats better get on the ball finding a suitable replacement for bho.

Who have the Republicans found that meet all the requirements of the dozen differing ********* groups, the old mainstay Reagan Republicans, or the current neocons that have ruled the party for the past dozen or so years?

If the choice is again "bad" or "badder" (depending on how you look at it) - they stand no chance.....
How bad will this multitude of ********* groups/candidates (some which are no better than KKK or Aryan Nationers) tear the party apart :???:

"Don't interrupt your opponent, when he/she is making mistakes", I think I've read that somewhere before. OR I just made it up, who knows :D

"Tea baggers" are the more Constitutionalist of the bunch.

You don't have a problem with the Constitution, do you , OT?

Well if Obama keeps up what he is doing he may not get the Dem. nomination in 2012. If he dose the Dem party will be dead, and most likely American to.

It's funny to see OT demonstrate repeatedly his obvious hatred of a group of Americans who probably for the first time in their lives have become politically active.

Scary, isn't it OT?

Remember when I said, I thought, the political pendulum would swing back as far right as obama and the progressives have taken it left?

Who says the Tea Party is asking for Republicans to meet their requirements?

TALLAHASSEE — As the slates for statewide and legislative elections were set Friday, a political war began brewing over who is behind the state’s official “Tea Party.” Seven of the 16 Tea Party candidates who qualified for House or Senate seats are opposing Republican incumbents. Chairman Fred O’Neal suggested the party’s main goal was to defeat GOP legislators who aren’t conservative enough.
