CATTLE: (AP) -- South Korea has found banned bones in a U.S. beef shipment for
the second time this week, the government said Thursday.
The National Veterinary Research & Quarantine Service said in a
release it will cancel import approval for the U.S. facility that processed the
beef and return the entire shipment to the U.S.
A quarantine service official identified the facility as belonging to
Cargill Meat Solutions Corp., based in Wichita, Kansas, one of 36 American
plants authorized to handle meat for export to South Korea. She spoke on
condition of anonymity because the U.S. has asked South Korea not to publicly
identify the names of meat packers found to have shipped banned bones.
First they do not want anyone to be allowed to BSE test, and then they continue to attept to screw up the market access by breaking the rules ---- on purpose I propose. Losing control of the captive North American BSEconomic market would hinder plans to bolster exports from their plants in other parts of the world.
