Link below.

"Kansas is a Republican state by voter registration.

But two Democrats are leading the way in raising campaign funds, according to finance reports filed Monday.

Gov. Kathleen Sebelius has banked nearly $2.1 million as she awaits the winner of the Aug. 1 Republican Party primary.

The three leading Republican hopefuls in a field of seven have spent a combined total of approximately $600,000 this year.

And in the attorney general’s race, newly converted Democrat Paul Morrison has $764,839 on hand for his November general election matchup against Republican incumbent Phill Kline, who had $418,492.

“Sebelius has successfully split the Republican Party in Kansas,” said Bob Beatty, political science professor at Washburn University.

“The divide between the moderates and conservatives has just become stark with the phenomenon of Kathleen Sebelius,” he said."

and much like other HOPEFUL moments in your view they just ended up a DISappointment for you.

Money doesn't equal a win. But when the Dems are raising more money, nationally than Republicans, that's a major event. And when top Republicans are jumping ship and re-registering as Dems, I think the future looks bright for the Democratic Party in Kansas. They may not turn the state blue this year, but with two more years of Bush's Blunders, '08 is looking very, very hopeful, and not just in Kansas.

Dis, you ignorant fool!

this is the state of Bob Dole, Brownback, Roberts, and common sense.

there is no blue take over gonna happen out here.

there is a lean to the liberal head in the butt party for two simple reasons....the ignorant fools in the union at Boeing, and the packers bringing in all the damned Mexican. I wish the govenor would send the unions back to Chicago, and the Mexicans back to Texas...we need neither here.

Dis, choose either of the abbolished groups and get the hell out of my state too!

Jigs, don't think I'd get too excited about Brownback....he's the knothead that voted Against English being designated as our primary language. I still don't understand that one.
