Is The "Sheriff Of The Year" An Anarchist?

If so, maybe someone should call the authorities on him?
Milwaukee County Sheriff David A. Clarke Jr. said in a television interview Wednesday night that he agrees with the views of an anti-federal government group that recently gave him an award.

During a interview on a range of topics with WISN-TV (Channel 12), Clarke was questioned about being named "sheriff of the year" by the Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association and an image of Journal Sentinel columnist Daniel Bice's recent article about the award flashed in the background.

Bice first reported that the association is the brainchild of Richard Mack, a former Arizona lawman who believes a sheriff's primary duty is to protect local citizens from the federal government.

Bice observed that Mack wrote on his personal website: "The greatest threat we face today is not terrorists; it is our own federal government."

When Clarke was asked by WISN if he agreed with Mack's statement, he said, "I could make the case."

Clarke then weighed several factors, such as the low odds of being killed by terrorists and recent problems at the IRS, before saying: "Yeah, you know what, on an everyday basis to me federal government is a bigger threat."

.... I personally believe the IRS criminal investigators would have been negligent in their job if they hadn't look harder at/questioned such folks......

You apparently didn't get the memo. We no longer quote misguided souls as pointing out hypocracy of a written statement by using current factual examples is apparently "Jr highish and ugly." However, please feel free to actually act like a Jr high schooler or worse and call people names such as tea baggers, rightwing nuts, or falsely accuse them of being anarchists, terrorists, or of sexual misconduct. That apparently is ok. This should probably just be made into a sticky for easy reference.
