We had water in some fields like that but it was standing, not streams.. Most of our streams around here have been channelized for 100 years.. The ones that weren't busted out good with our spring thaw and the ice we got...

MOst of our standing water is gone now, frost finally broke in the ground and it trickeld down to ground water... Water table is at its highest around in in years right now... Hope it can hold out, should have a good first growth this spring but would really appreciate some good May and June moisture too.

I'm hoping if it ever truly melts here our fields will look like that, until the ground thaws.I'm complaining about the snow but in reality its a moisture blessing we haven't seen in 11 years.

Some of the grass looking threw the snow is already green :D
