There is a lot of oil that goes through the P. Gulf. If it went down there would be a world wide energy crisis yet again.

Yes, Roper, I am sure we would go over Turkey, Syria, Israel, and or Jordan if the need was to arise.

The article does show the need to plan carefully in light of known weapons.

War usually brings out a few unknown weapons/strategies.

Well the muzzies just sent a long range<130 miles> missle into the ocean. Apparently they could not even yit Israel with it! This was an Iaranian missle with Iranian missle crews. So I guess the Carriers are safe.
BTW Iran has Revolutionary Guards in Lebanon. Here is a link http://worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=51191

Dissagreable the long range Iranian missle launched from Lebanon was widely reported on the news so surely you dont need a link for it ?

Former CIA Director James Woolsey says we now have enough overt acts by Syria that we (Israel and US) could/should go into Syria and bomb and close all airports and transportation routes and close down anymore supplies from gaining access from Iran to Lebanon by route of Syria....

Should have been done day one in my opinion...

Those B52 should just be flying right steady and we should be building more of them! F-Nation building. Lets just get rid of them!

Actually he didn't say go in-- just bomb them too....And I agree with you on the B-52's-- keep the air over that area filled with them until a mouse can't move safely in Syria-- and if that don't work point then toward Iran...

Quite an old plane--that B-52-- quite a history...Almost 40 years ago I stood guard over them big old gooney birds when they had them loaded down with real thing...The wings actually flapped when they were going down the runway...

The article was interesting. Some would say, that the doom and gloom is all planned and set in motion. The final destruction of the US ecomony, military, population, etc. China is bank-rolling the USA deficit.

I find it very amusing that hatred can be propagated against these middle-eastern nations by "the boys" on ranchers; yet, if there were a similar webpage with such hate-mongering against American or christian nations, the webpage would be shut-down or the posters, at the very least, brought in for questioning (if not charged with promoting hatred).

Why is it, you all want to pick wars outside your own countries? (and don't say 911, either, you haven't investigated the facts here, because if you had, you'd know it was an inside-job - False Flag Operation).

Why is it, you all want these middle-eastern populations wiped off the face of the Earth, like you're God or something?

Arms dealers from all over this world, don't give a rats A$$ about who they sell their weapons to, American manufacturers of weapons are no different than Russian ones. All they care about is the money and prestige.

Where in the USA's constitution does it say that the government has the right to force its policies and democracy on other nations?

Just think, if only a fraction of the funds used to develop these weapons of ultimate death and destruction were used to fund alternative renewable energy resources and effecient vehicles (etc), there would be no dependency of the oil/gas resources which are outside our borders.

I heard Condoleeza on the TV today- she agrees with promoting a cease fire but not until "conditions are condusive to do so"....I hope that is political talk for "when we've killed or ran all the Hezbollah, Syrians, and Iranians out of Lebanon"....
