My Dad bought my Mom one of those turkey deep fryers, don't know if she's ever tried it out. Have you ever had the steak pitchfork fondue? Yummy! It's hard to believe a steak deep fried in boiling hot oil could taste so good and not be greasy from all that oil.

Few years ago when the "fried turkey" thang got big around here, Our Thanksgivin dinner just wasn't NOT the same. It aint Thanksgivin dinner if ya aint got Turkey gravy. So I protested. LOL If they wanna eat Fried Turkey let em do it some other time of the year besides Thanksgivin. I'll admit, the Cajun Injected Turkeys Fried are perdy good eatin, but not when there's dressin and gravy to be had.
Ok now my mouth is waterin for Thanksgivin dinner.......and another 2 months to wait

My mom wouldn't let us get through our teenage years without learning to cook.. Too much time married to a man who never figured out how to put the secon piece of bread on top of a peanut butter sandwich so he just made them open faced

So glad I can cook, although I do hat recipes.

I don't think good old Dad figured out the fold over until he started working out of the country and had to fend for himself... He has made lots of strides these past 15 years or so... Can cook soup now too

That turkey does look pretty tasty............and I love the way Greg "helps". I see that he's got the shovel nearby, in case he needs to throw some dirt on a flare-up, though.........maybe he was helping in a fire retardant way.......

I wonder if any Orientals use those cookers, because it looks like you could just dunk the cat a few times like a teabag.
