Guess what kiddies?!

The TV channel that internet guru Algore started, Current TV, sold quite recently.

The surprising news is who's bid or interest in purchasing the network was rejected and who actually bought the network.

Conservative radio and TV host Glenn Beck and The Blaze TV were soundly rejected when they showed interest in purchasing the failed network.

The new owner is....TA DAAA! Al Jazeera, our infidel loving pals who are in bed with Al Queda and the Taliban! How much more liberal and left leaning can we get?

Where the hell is the puke emoticon??

The multimillion dollar deal came after Current rebuffed TheBlaze when it approached the network about buying the channel last year. According to a source close to the negotiations, officials at TheBlaze were told that “the legacy of who the network goes to is important to us and we are sensitive to networks not aligned with our point of view.”

Gore, who was reportedly eager to complete the deal by Dec. 31 in order to avoid higher tax rates that took effect on Jan. 1.

Richer Than Romney: Al Gore Scores On Sale Of Current TV

When former Vice President Al Gore ran for president more than 12 years ago, he had less than $2 million in assets to his name

FORBES conservatively estimates the former vice president’s net worth to be at least $300 million, making him wealthier than unsuccessful Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney.

Gore was named vice chairman of Metropolitan West Financial Inc., a now defunct Los Angeles-based money manager, which then had more than $50 billion in assets under management. He held that position briefly before going on to found global investment firm Generation Investment Management with former Goldman Sachs executive David Blood.

seems the cushie corporate board jobs such as that at Apple that outsourced the iphone to a Chinese prison factory have paid off for mega capitalist gore..

Time Warner Cable Drops Current TV Upon Sale To Al Jazeera

Time Warner Cable Drops Current TV Upon Sale To Al Jazeera

But while the new channel will soon be available in 40 million households, Al Jazeera faced a setback when Time Warner Cable -- which reaches 12 million homes -- announced it was dropping the low-rated Current, which occupied a spot that could have been switched to Al Jazeera America.

A Time Warner Cable spokesman said in a statement that "our agreement with Current will be terminated and we will no longer be carrying the channel."

Joel Hyatt, who co-founded Current TV with former Vice President Al Gore, told staff in a Wednesday night memo that Time Warner Cable "did not consent to the sale to Al Jazeera."

well it was carried in 40 million housholds.. and just lost 12 million..

only 36 million viewers left to cal their cable provider and threaten to switch if the don't drop terrorist TV

as Allahpundit wryly notes at Hot Air, "I appreciate the irony of one of the high priests of global-warming awareness cashing out to a government built on oil wealth."

and that doesn't even mention Gore's tax avoidance moves...

comically ironic isn't it..

even more funny is Kieth Obefarten working for Al- Jihadie..

Current’s Distribution

Current is now available via cable and satellite TV in 71 million households worldwide – 60 million in the U.S. – through distribution partners
Comcast (Channel 107);
DirecTV (Channel 358 nationwide);
Dish Network (Channel 215 nationwide);
Verizon FiOS (Channel 192) and
AT&T U-Verse (Channel 189).

I do business with three of them or a subsidiary right now..

none has returned or responded to the call or e-mail..

as of right now I would have to switch from one carrier who carries it to another.. so I told them.. I will switch to whomever drops it first..
