On Friday I get a note home from school and I quote " Braxton's finger was cut when the boys were misusing scissors"
Teacher talk for, your kid is a dunce .
The literal traslation of this note " my normally sensible child,Brax and 4 other boys were chopping at each other with scissors" Boys.....sheesh.....I think I have publicly humiliated him enough over this one that it won't happen again, but to seal the deal I should send him to school in a hockey helmet wearing my runs with scissors shirt. Maybe I should by him some plastic scissors just to seal the deal 8)
Just another child hood trauma brought to you by MOM :)

Judith---my boys are 18, 10 and 7.....do they ever outgrow the "running with scissors" phase?????     Strange (or is it just genetics) that I have NEVER had this sort of problem with my one and only daughter!!!

Mine turns 10 in the middle of summer. He usually uses better judgement than that. However it gives me something to tease him about. Unfortunately he has ammo, he and the neighbors still seem to feel the need to remind me about hurling myself of the haywagon. The little apple gets his grace from his momma......
