It might be, it could be … free Taco Bell tacos for everyone!
by Ann Bagel Storck on 10/24/2006 for Meatingplace.com
Quick-service restaurant chain Taco Bell is promising a free Seasoned Beef Crunchy Taco to everyone in the United States if any player hits a home run over left or left center field during Game Three of the World Series Tuesday night.
Taco Bell is defining left or left center as the territory from straightaway center field — directly from home plate — to the left field foul pole, including the foul pole if ruled a home run. Over the past three World Series, 34.8 percent of home runs hit have been hit to that area.
The free taco offer would be good between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. local time on Nov. 1.
