It finally snowed a little last night... about 5 inches of wonderful wet stuff!

Calves this morning enjoying the dust being settled for a day or two.

Getting a little mineral.

The other permittee on the forest bought some good hereford bulls last spring, and I've gotten two calves out of these bulls so far... should be nice calves.

I could move the cows onto better feed and water earlier last week. It was a nice change to have grass to turn in on. Last summer was a great grass year.

Cattle look great. I wish we could get a dump of powder like that. We're a little dry, but I know we're going to get some before long. We always do. Cows are out in the hills like those pics of yours, except our hills are covered in trees.

We got more snow in the Utah desert last night and today. It is amazing to see the mountains around us covered and holding all that water for summer. After the last few years of dehydrated water it surely is a welcome sight!!!!! Hope ya'll get moisture enough to meet your needs!

We had a little, snowed all day Friday, appreciated moisture in the form of snow. All melted, about 1/4 to 1/2 inch, yesterday, then when we woke up this morning we had a little more wet snow. It's gone now, but was nice to settle the dust at least.

Finally got some yesterday and it started snowing here just after noon and it is still snowing. Been needing it pretty badly.

Your cattle look great.

Thanks everybody for your nice compliments. Glad to hear others are also getting some moisture.

It actually snowed another 3-4 inches last night, but the wind drifted it. The power went out for a bit, but luckily came back on. Thank-goodness calving is winding down, and I can put all the heavies into the barn and not worry as much! Just hope the older calves stay healthy
