remember the child hood retort.. "it takes one to know one"?
I have found that many sayings have roots in the Bible.. some not so good, but some have a truth that defies man's logic...
I try to just put forward a passage so the person can read and hopefully understand my beliefs on an issue instead of quoting the bible, partly because taking a passage out of context can lead some to manipulate the word to fit their agenda, partly because there are different interpretations to the word, and partly to draw a person back to the bible.. but below is a passage that might help a few to a better understanding of the old childhood retort..
but if you think you know more then the written word..
since religion often overtakes politics these days..
and a few seem to want to judge others..

“Therefore you are without excuse, every man of you who passes judgment, for in that you judge another, you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things. And we know that the judgment of God rightly falls upon those who practice such things.” (Romans 2:1-2).
