...Your best friend owns a Kenworth!!! :p :p

This is the reason the last poll in the photo contest was late. Called out of town to drag a dead petercar home. The feller that owns this truck has a fleet of 120 peterbilts Anywhere from a detroit engine to an electronic 425 CAT or Cummings 475.

Bad day for this driver. Truck went down at 4 pm. Took 5 1/2 hours to get up there with a running truck. Poor feller was broke down on the turnpike in northern ohio for 10 hours.

At least gives the KW bragging rights for a while.

The closest the Pete I drive gets to a Kenworth is when I meet one, or pass one...
If you have a truck, sooner or later, something will go to heck. Not just trucks either I guess.

My husband would appreciate this picture. He has a real dislike for Peterbilts, and well Kenworths too for that matter. More Petes, though. He's a Western Star man.

I never understood the deal between the pete guys and the Kenny guys. Sorta like 2 guys that married twins and argue over who got the pretty one.

The one truth there is in trucking: whenever you're having truck trouble you'll also have to deal with the stupidest car drivers.

The guy with the pete was not charged for the over 600 mile round trip tow. They way it is figgered is that some day the KW will need the favor returned.

A friend says:
Mostly Freightliners and Sterlings (ford products) Doesn't like the Classic Peterbuilts or KWs. Can't see around the exhaust stacks in the side mirrors. Have to open the door and look back. The newer designs are much better, but there are those dinosaurs out there that think if it doesn't look like a classic 'big rig', their testosterone levels will come into question. :) go figure.

He delivers 3 or 4 at a time (NEW Ones PippyBack) from Portland accross country and Canada the flies back to Portland for another load
