Water holes are mostly dry- springs just trickling -I had to open the gates to the underpass under the highway to turn the cows into the creek pasture and water holes...Sounds like some are hauling water already...One fella I talked to said that if it don't rain in a week or so- he'll sell everything as he can't afford the high cost of fuel hauling water ...
I talked to a neighbor that seeded about 2 weeks after mine- and he said the wheat is done- zilch- nothing worth combining...Mines looking pretty sorry, altho there is still hope...
Tomorrow I need to check the water holes/springs on the pasture we were hoping to move some cows to next week- that area got a couple rains I missed, so hopefully there is water there (praying icon)....
