20F, 30 to 50 MPH winds and snowing. I was going to put my hay trailer back together this afternoon but I now have no excuse not to do some bookwork. :(

I saw where southern Alberta was getting wind up to 55 mph and 40-50 degree temps....That should be a snow melter....

We had 20-30 mph winds and thawing temps all night-- not much wind but 40 degrees now--but still see very little bare ground or grass sticking thru...

No, we had a beeeautiful day today...a bit windy but it's getting colder tonite. Tomorrow is to be nice also but cold ( by my measure ) and then the SNOW comes in Monday PM late....thru Tues.

Of course, they have no idea how much we'll get. Here, we either get a dusting or 2 feet...it's all or nothing up here.

30 mph wind and 40F here all day. Still lots of snow but it is sure becoming dense. Cows are happy with this kind of weather. Our GPyr dog has a doghouse, dog door into a heated shop and access to a couple of other buildings. She usually can be found sleeping in a snowbank. Dogs in Canada must just be tougher than those wussy American dogs.

I'm the one living in the dog house!
They came in "just to warm up" in some -40 weather we had two years ago, they've never left.
I don't help vacuum much anymore though.......

I'm surprised they stayed inside . We brought our Border collie in a few yrs ago when it was upwards -40's,he sat at the door and whined until morning. We have a Igloo{brand name }dog house and bought him a big fluffy dog bed for in it,he'd haul that dog bed out of the house into the snow bank and sleep there. The ONLY time he used the dog house was when we had pups from our female and he used to hide in there to get away from the puppies attention.

Brother-in-law phoned this morning, I think he's somewhere near Tennesee. He was telling us about the storm predicted for Tuesday. He just phoned to warn us about the weather conditions that they've had to deal with since they left Wednesday, because we're headed the same way next Thursday or Friday. I'm not looking forward to the roadtrip.

That storm blew through here in about 2.5 hours, hard to tell how much snow out of it. The wind settled down in the evening and we got about 3-4 inches overnight. Going to be out your way next week, if there's time I may stop in.

Why would you put the BBQ away? The heat melts the snow off.
