I swear that child has no fear.....this evenin while out feedin her heifers, the three colts (3 year olds) Lil Lilly was out there with Bill (the new owner of them) and I'll be daggumed if she didnt climb up on all three of them. One at a time. bareback. she messed with em a lil bit before hand. rubbin their back...hoppin up and layin over their back to see what they'd do.....all I could do was stand by and watch. she was bound and determined she was gittin on em. I have no fingernails left now!!!!!

I know makes ya crazy. When my daughter was 4 she would be in and out of the horses legs take there splint boots off. Go out and try to catch the biggest hores in the pasture. Even feeding could not keep her away from them . But I think the animals must know because she never got hurt I just got gray hair  kids thats all I have to say luckly my son is a little better around the animals but not the motor bikes  its always something. :!:

I went out to catch a horse, quit a few years ago, with a halter and a bucket with some oats in it. I climbed on him, like I'd done many times before. He reached around, sniffed my boot toe, farted and busted into. Me and the bucket hit the ground the same time, I on my head.
THe next weekend my daughter was home from school and we went out to catch that same horse, She insisted on riding him back bareback, with just the halter. I tried to talk her out of it but she did anyway and got along just fine.
I had a good little, cowy bay mare that would try to hump a little under me in cold weather, but she never did that with the kids.
There's just something about kids and horses and I sometimes think the horses have the most sense.
