EXAMINER Saturday July 21st, , 2012: The reports that Aurora movie theater gunman James E. Holmes was a former member of the “Black Bloc” faction of the Occupy movement have caused considerable debate. Yet the most strident denials of this reportage seem to come almost entirely from the political left. More objective sources as well as blogs and web sites on the right seem to assert Holmes was a member of the group.

Well let's just see how this plays out, after all we wouldn't want to jump on things like the leftists do

This appears to be a differnet person, from other pics I have seen, since I posted the opening post.

But to smalltimes question: It does appear that many of the OWS portesters are violent. Many have been charged with assualt and other crimes like rape, in their camps.

Then their were those 3 or 4 that were charged with the plan to kill police.

They are a much more violent group of people than the Left tried to make the Tea Partyy out to be.

All we know about Jwacko is that he went nuts after intense indoctrination by Leftist academia...

...that's all we know.

the OWS student loan victimization indoctrination may have given him one more irrational reason... but I would not want to blame anyone but the wacko for the wacko's actions..

Any child/student that would believe that hoax without an abundance of "Hard Work" thrown in is lost anyway.

The Occupiers were/are Anti-Capitalists. You know, that business model thing that made the economic wheels turn..................................

I did a combination of public and private school for my son,.

he started out in public school, until they canceled almost all the programs to support additional English language classes (kids taught in Spanish so they can keep up)

but the kicker was an over the Christmas break homework assignment,.. religions and Christmas traditions of the world..

it seems to cover about everything,.. Islam, Buddhism,.. Hanukkah Kwanza and about ever secular tradition you could imagine... except Christianity..

when our displeasure became known.. and that we were moving him to a local parochial school his grades tanked..

when I questioned them and showed that every assignment he brought home was marked a 100% or A,.. she said.. yes, but he isn't trying...

and then she moved him to the back of the class ... so he couldn't see the board even with his thick glasses..

he did great in parochial school, and went to a Tech high school
and a very liberal university..

at times I was concerned,.. when he was a teenager we took a trip to South Dakota.. and I showed him the house we lived in in Cherry Creek,,, ( I was actually surprised to see it still standing) and explained how liberal policy works..

but there is nothing like being unemployed after you get your degree to get you to face reality that liberal policy is a failure..

Condoleezza Rice to speak at MSU freshman convocationAssociated Press The Billings Gazette

BOZEMAN - Former U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is scheduled to speak to Montana State University's incoming freshman class on Sept. 5.
Rice is set to speak at 7:30 p.m. at MSU's Brick Breeden Fieldhouse. Members of MSU's freshman class have reserved seats while another 2,000 free tickets will be made available to the public Monday at Bobcat ticket outlets.

Rice's memoir is MSU's 2012 freshman summer reading book. The book, "Extraordinary, Ordinary People" is about Rice growing up in the segregated South as well as the influence, support and guidance she received from her parents and mentors.

Rice served as Secretary of State from 2005 to 2009. She is currently a professor of political economy at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a professor of political science.
.

I don't buy that copout that it is because all teachers/instructors are liberals... Thats like saying that all educated and scholarly folks become liberals...

If you don't like whats being taught in the schools- or how its taught- get on the board- get involved with the running and governing of the schools..

The NEA Giant and a Slingshot

The National Education Association is America's extremely dominant teachers' union with well over 3 million members. Republican and Democrat, Christian and Non-Christian teachers alike pay their NEA dues either because they believe in what the NEA does or because they see no other real choice. Yet, the NEA is anything but shy about its extreme left-winged agenda and its hatred of pro-family values. A multitude of Christian educators would love to get out of the NEA, but the path away from this powerful political organization is not necessarily smooth or clearly marked.

Contrary to what some people may believe, the NEA's goal is not to do what's best for children. The purpose of the teacher's union is to benefit its members. The NEA is also a well-financed tool to promote liberal politics, even politics that have absolutely nothing to do with education.

NEA's retiring General Counsel Bob Chanin offered telling remarks at the National Education Association's annual convention in early July. In a speech that can be watched on YouTube, Chanin told a large crowd of adoring NEA members that the NEA and its affiliates' first goal is not to close achievement gaps or reduce dropout rates or improve teacher quality.

These things are not "unimportant or inappropriate," Chanin said, "…but they need not and must not be achieved at the expense of due process, employee rights, and collective bargaining. That simply is too high a price to pay. When all is said and done, NEA and its affiliates must never lose sight of the fact that they are unions, and what unions do first and foremost is represent their members."
Because the NEA's goal is to benefit teachers and not students, NEA-associated teachers' unions will protect and defend even bad teachers to prevent them from being fired. If principals want to clean up their failing schools and get the best teachers out there, they can face a hard time getting rid of lousy or incompetent teachers who happen to be tenured. It can cost school districts tens or even hundreds of thousands of dollars in litigation costs just to fire one teacher.

The NEA is also extremely bold about its leftist politics.

In Chanin's speech, he spoke openly against the American conservatives who disagreed with his politics, saying,
"Why are these conservative and right-wing b****rds picking on NEA and its affiliates? I will tell you why: it is the price we pay for success."
As though anybody could "pick on" the goliath-sized 3.2 million member teachers' union.

While only 45 percent of public school teachers register as Democrats, a full 93 percent of NEA donations to political action committees and officers went to Democrats between 1990 and 2008, according to the Center for Responsive Politics. Almost 10 percent of the NEA's total $352,958,087 in receipts in 2007 went to political activities and lobbying, primarily for liberal causes. Another $80.6 million went as "contributions, gifts, and grants" to left wing causes, including ones that had nothing to do with education, like stopping social security reform.

The teachers' union is not just politically unbalanced, but it heavily promotes causes that Christians consider immoral. For instance, the NEA has aggressively advanced the homosexual agenda and abortion. This year the NEA voted against remaining neutral on the abortion issue, and has historically promoted abortion rights. The NEA has also strongly supported gay marriage and gay and lesbian education in the schools. The Gay and Lesbian Issues Caucus is one of the largest groups influencing NEA policy, and the NEA has strongly opposed the idea that gays and lesbians can change their sexual orientation.

Might even get the odd retired Sherrif on the school borard that is looking for the "freebies"

He might even throw around the odd false allegation to get someone with an opposing view thrown off.

OT, you are such a farce and corrupt individual, do you think anyone takes anything you say as credible?
