January 1st 1979 we had -65 , We had a new pick up and could get to the feed grounds thru the deep snow and feed, trading spot to get inside and get warm. Nobody covered the radiator. It froze and the truck boiled over. Oh if I could have been home, I stopped and spent a night on the way home from college with a girl friend, staying at her parent’s house in Bolder Wyoming. I was invited back for New Years, well I guess her mother didn’t like me and I spent the evening with a lot of people I didn’t know, oh the girl friend was back on with a old high school friend. Well the next day my truck wouldn’t start I didn’t have enough clothe to go help them pitch loose hay to 800 cows from a stack to the sleigh to the cows. I was in a house with an X-girl friend and her mother……

That sounds like what normally would be termed a "flood" of old memories, but with the temperature at minus 65 degrees it would be more like an "iceburg" of old memories. Thanks for the story.
