Here's a few more pictures that I took at the Monahans Sandhills State Park. I practically grew up out in these sand dunes. Never thought of them as pretty back then, but now I think they are one of the prettiest parts of West Texas.

This windmill usta have a stock tank at the bottom......was a rule, you had to take a dip in the tank before gettin in the car to go home. That way mama didnt hafta clean sand outta the car later. Now the tank is gone, and they have one above ground.

Pretty pictures and an ornate windmill. My kids love to go play in a blowout where it's all sandy and soft. They just get covered in sand and love it!

There are 3840 acres of sand dunes in the State Park, some up to 70 feet high. But there are other areas that are just as big, or bigger that look just like em. Basically these stretch from Monahans, and Crane, all the way to White Sands, New Mexico. Not solid, but hit and miss.
