Barack Obama said again today that he wants to raise taxes on the rich — that’s provided by November anyone is still rich. ~ Jay Leno

The government had to bail out two huge companies, and today they strongly hinted that they’d bail out others . . . at taxpayers’ expense of course. It’s all part of a new approach that leaders in the White House and Congress are taking — it’s called socialism.~ Jimmy Kimmel

The president briefly came out of hiding today to say that he shares the public’s concerns. ~ Jimmy Kimmel

Due to the current crisis on Wall Street, President Bush announced just a few hours ago that he’s canceled a trip to Alabama. Bush said, “Under the circumstances, I didn’t think it was right to leave the country.” ~ Conan O'Brien

I like political humor as much as the next guy, but I was wondering: Do these guys ever make any jokes about Obama, or is that not allowed? Are these guys just more lefty lackeys being told what to say and when to say it, or do they take cheap shots at the other side, too?

Bush is the joke- just mention his name and folks start laughing- because if they didn't they'd cry  :(

Heres a couple more on Obama:

This Sunday, the entire hour of “60 Minutes” will be devoted to Barack Obama and John McCain. Apparently, Barack Obama will be interviewed, and John McCain will fill in for Andy Rooney.~ Conan O'Brien
Tough blow for Barack Obama. Yesterday, a key Democratic fundraiser switched sides. She said Obama was too elitist. She is none other than Lady Lynn Forest de Rothschild. She’s worth a gazillion dollars. That’s it Obama — you’ve lost the people’s vote. ~Craig Ferguson

She’s a lawyer as well. Is it wise to be hanging around Republicans after what Cheney did to his lawyer?

That's it? That's all you could come up with? Those are pretty mild compared to what they routinely say about Bush, McCain, and Republicans in general.

Anybody who has been paying attention knows that Obama has said and done a lot of stupid things. He's a treasure trove of material for even the dimmest of comedians, just like most politicians. So I'll put the question another way: Why do you think they feel the need to tip toe around Obama when it comes to poking fun?

Oldtimer, with all due respect, as much stock as you seem to put in these so-called comedians and their one-liners, you are showing yourself as someone not to be taken too serious yourself.

If the contest is "Let's see who can post the most jokes by people who have absolutely no relevance to anybody in the real world"......you win hands down.

Alice, ask me if I give a ratz azz what you think. Oh excuse me you and thinking do not belong in the same sentence.

Does Obama's vote, lie about that vote and then accusation of others of lying about that vote (when they could document they were truthful) on that little infanticide deal further his cause?

What do you think about that, Alice?

“When it comes to the economy, President Bush is no help at all. Like when reporters asked him today, what he thought about AIG, he said he got Showtime and HBO, but he really didn’t get the whole package.” –Jay Leno

“Big story in USA Today today. They said the days of easy money are over. Well, I’ll bet the CEOs of the oil companies had a big laugh over that.” –Jay Leno

“President Bush is doing his best to respond to the crisis. I love that-- that gets giggles. That’s not even a joke. It’s just me discussing what’s really going on.” –Conan O’Brien

Another question for you libs to ignore? I think we all know the answer, but it sure would be nice to hear some of you libs be honest enough to admit it.

I'm sure not a lib but I can tell you why they "tip toe" around Osama Obama,it's because he is black ( or so he says) simple and plain truth.
