Jenny the donkey, whose exploits since escaping from her Pittsfield, Me., corral Jan. 18 have been well documented, sauntered back to captivity yesterday (Feb. 21), the Morning Sentinel reported.
According to the report, equine behavior specialist Karina Lewis spent more than a week becoming Jenny's friend before leading her back into a corral.
"We let things be her idea and we didn't force it," Lewis told the paper. Lewis said she plans to continue working with Jenny, along with her owners, to build Jenny's trust in people.
